Güzel Günler Meyhanesi
On Sunday, May 7th we imagined tables being set up in many parts of the world. For instance, we set up a meyhane in London, while our friends gathered at various locations in Berlin, Toronto or Amsterdam. This was just the beginning, as we invited everyone to be part of the Güzel Günler Meyhanesi gathering with their tables all around the world.
From pubs and restaurants to homes, balconies, boats, parks, gardens and beaches hundreds of tables were set up in 179 different cities around the globe.
As Orhan Veli once said in the final line of his story "Hoşgör Köftecisi," "If you long to live in a wonderful world, go and find yourself such a meyhane."
We want to live in a beautiful world! A world that's fair, equal, free, and full of love, where we can always raise our glasses with joy to better days ahead. With these feelings, on Sunday, May 7th, 2023, we transformed the entire planet into one giant table and gathered together at the Güzel Günler Meyhanesi.

We had a phenomenal event on May 7th with Güzel Günler Meyhanesi! Meyhanes were opened and tables were set in 179 cities worldwide, with 611 individuals adding their cities to our Güzel Günler Meyhanesi world atlas.
Despite the physical distance, it was a heartwarming moment to gather together and raise a toast to the beautiful days ahead. We may have been miles apart, but our spirits were side by side around those tables! Here's to many more...
